The most creative poll so far | Mar 5, 2017 |
However, some of the most appealing titles are definitely missing...
For instance:
1) "To translate or not to translate?"
2) "50 shades of proofreading."
3) "Hey, this is not proofreading, this is PEMT!"
4) ?! | | |

... The 100% Solution?
Yes, a fun poll. | |

I love the first option, but would prefer "Pride, Prejudice and Proofreading" - IMHO, this just looks better.

Yes, I liked this poll!
It is so creative, full of fun & awesome.
Terrific poll! | Mar 5, 2017 |
I answered Nearly 100 Years of Solitude, which is the part of translation I like most. But looking at the current state of the industry (quality and all that), I wish it were Sense and Sensibility.

I also love Jack's proposal: War of the Words! I join all the other voices of congratulations and say thank you to Anonymous for a creative and fun poll...

Finally, after 70 years, this Dutch classic has been translated into English, see over here. The relevance for freelance translation probably needs no further explanation
