This year, the pre-Christmas party will take place at Krčma, a typical Czech pub (again :-)) close to the Old Town Square.

The room is big enough for up to 50 translators/interpreters. They have excellent meals with a lot of vegetarian options. It's a non-smoking place but smokers can have a cigarette or two at the bar. Oh, and both the beer and the wine they serve are delicious!
They close at 10pm :-( but there's a nice bar just next door where we can go on celebrating.

Did you know that prohibition was abolished in the US on December 5, 1933? What coincidence - or is it another reason to have a drink?

Krčma is quite easy to find:
Take Pařížská street from the Old Town Square and then the first street, Kostečná, to the right. (For those coming from the tram stop in front of the Faculty of Law, take the last street to the left before arriving at the Old Town Square).

The party will start at 5pm.

Meeting point for some sightseeing before the powwow:
2pm at the Old Town Square next to Jan Hus monument.
We will have a cup or two of mulled wine abd then we can visit the tower of the Old Town Hall to enjoy a winter view of the city.
