    speed factorFeb 28, 2013

i find it frustrating that it takes so long for trados tocheck the whole text in a document, for example to confirm the new translation with the existing remainder, while it does it I just have to wait.. Are there any ways to speed up? Also how would I effectively edit or find terms in TMs? How would I create a specific translation onto an existing TM?

I hope this session will help Indian translatorMar 1, 2013

I just purchased Trados 2011 and want to learn it. Though I have attended previous webinar on Trados Studio but found it little disapointing as no help provided for Indian language specific problems arising in Trados 2011.

I hope that this coming webinar will dedicate some portion for Indian language specific problems.

Benefits & Fruitfulness of using SDL TradosMar 1, 2013

In my opinion I believe it is essential for every individual who is dealing with translation & interpretation industry.
the problem for many people is the time as the range from GMT 2:00 up to 15:00 GMT is difficult time to attend for Middle East region.
I hope to consider the time to be around 7:00 GMT or so

It would be convenient to have the training some time in the evening for those of us who are busy during the day. E.g. 17 GMT.

Proper time is evening Mar 11, 2013

I agree with the colleague NADIA who suggested to have the sessions evening time as it is the most proper for us . We can have it as well on Friday as well for the most beneficiary, if possible.
    thank you very much

Not just new to Studio, but new to TradosMar 15, 2013

Very much looking forward to this as I am about to buy my first ever TMS and it happens to be Trados Studio. I know nothing about any kind of translation memory software and hope I will be able to keep up!

    problems with Studio 2009Mar 15, 2013

I always seem to be one step behind. As this course is for beginners it would be helpful to have a detailed procedure of what to do from receiving the file to delivery with every step. I have used Trados for a few years. Is till do not know what to tick and when. I do not know what the use of multiterm etc.. I am sure I am not using Trados multiple features effectively!

Put it on YoutubeMar 17, 2013

I do not quite understand why this material is only distributed at a certain time. If the video is any good it should be put on youtube, where it is possible to start and jump to different locations. Other vendors have understood this, like Wordfast. I once participated in a webinar of Atril, but dropped out after 15 minutes because I saw nothing interesting for me. Why should I sit an hour and wait for bits of essential information?
